Your educational experience is personal, so we take your interests and goals into consideration as well as your concentration area, co-curricular activities, work, and personal experiences. Your School of Theater advisor will use all of this to guide discussions to help you gain the foundational training that is essential for real-world success upon graduation.

Academic advising helps plan educational goals and work to achieve them throughout a liberal arts education. Advisors are dedicated to creating an atmosphere in which students can discover their potential, set and reach individual goals, explore and plan appropriate academic study, and prepare for success after graduation. With interests and goals in mind, academic advisors will help formulate academic plans.

Make the Most of Your Advising Appointment

Be prepared to discuss and explore course options, address academic concerns, and make decisions about the upcoming semester. It's helpful to review your course options for the next semester and list those that interest you by reviewing your Degree Evaluation in PatriotWeb.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment, go through the online system (see your confirmation email for the link). During peak advising periods, appointment times are at a premium. Your meeting will be canceled if you are more than 10 minutes late.
