The proximity of Mason's Fairfax Campus to the Washington, D.C., metro area, provides exciting opportunities for students to engage in meaningful arts experiences and collaborate with area experts. And it's not just for attending and observing—many School of Theater students land internships here. Guest artists from the region often conduct residencies to teach and mentor students in their craft.
After I graduate, I hope to have internships and connections made with local theatre companies in the D.C. and Virginia areas, so that I can immediately start working in the real world.
